Modernising the classic
Vacu Vin has been the inventor of the original Wine Saver since 1986, and this icon is known for reducing waste by preserving wine longer. But as consumer tastes evolve, even a successful design can benefit from a fresh update. A modernized look can extend its appeal while keeping the product relevant and accessible to new users.

To inspire more people to preserve their wine longer, Vacu Vin sought to reach beyond traditional wine lovers Connecting with a wider, younger audience who value sustainability. By engaging this new audience, more wine can be saved, and less goes to waste.

A sleek product is one people want to use. By softening shapes, refining colors, and adding a playful touch, we worked with Vacu Vin to make the Wine Saver more inviting. This approachable design helps create a sense of connection even with their younger audience.

To accelerate our shared goal of redefining the proposition for a younger, more diverse audience, we worked closely with Vacu Vin from the start. Through co-creation and rapid prototyping, we moved beyond sketches to refined prototypes, balancing shape, details, and aesthetics, and placing them in context to check that the proposition resonated with a wider audience.
