For Tremco illbruck we developed an innovative can for the first water based, insulating joint filler that does not contain any hazardous chemicals. The new can offers the user important practical advantages and leads to a massive impact in logistics for entrepreneurs.

Tremco illbruck is a manufacturer and service provider of high-performance sealing and bonding solutions for the construction and manufacturing industry. “Collaborating for Efficiency” is their guiding principle. They recently introduced the Illbruck JF100; the first water based, insulating joint filler for professional use that does not contain any hazardous chemicals. It is representing a revolutionary advance in joint fillers.

We developed the new innovative, ergonomically shaped can. Its slender neck ensures an optimal grip for the user, for an easy and accurate filling job.

The new patented 2-in-1 ring makes one single type of can suitable for 2 different attachments to facilitate the correct dosage for the filling job. With just one click the user switches easily from gun to nozzle + straw. For the manufacturer it leads to a massive impact decrease logistics in both storage and transport by halving the number of SKU’s.

The new Spray Nozzle (attachment with straw) forms a bayonet catch with the ring, avoiding slipping and loss of costly filler. We choose a ribbed polypropeen construction for the spray nozzle, using less material while ensuring strength, creating less waste.

JF100 is a user friendly insulating joint filler for professionals and DIY-users and is currently available in Sweden and The Netherlands.
